I am skeptical by nature, so an "opportunity" to create a business for 'Free' seemed just too good to be real. After all, the old saying is 'if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is!' was rolling around in my mind as I read the information about My Power Mall and listened to the introduction by Ginny Dye.
I am also a computer consultant who's been working with, on or in the Internet since the early 90's, so I know the history and I know the potential for the Web! When I listened to the business model for MPM and realized the true value of it, I got excited! But, I've been excited before about other businesses and have been greatly disappointed. So, the sceptic in me went searching for any negative information about this company that I could find, and believe me, I know where to look online!
After about an hour of searching, I found ... nothing! Nothing is ... good! Nothing means no complaints to the BBB. Nothing means no 'complaining' that the company "screwed me over". Nothing means there are no fraud investigations going on and nobody claiming ANYTHING negative about this company!
I pondered this information for a few minutes then went back into the MPM site and read the information about sharing a free mall with others and just how by doing this simple thing, you can generate a decent income, and perhaps a little later down the road, generate enough residual income to retire on!
It was when I read a reference to sharing the profits with others, as in their One-Child-At-A-Time program, well, that touched my heart and brought me back to my youth when I really believed that Our Generation of the 60's and early 70's could change the world.
I was sold! I got it! THIS opportunity was the one that would fullfil the promise that I thought was lost from 40 years ago!
